Daniel Lohninger has a multimedia education and has studied information and communication pedagogy. After beeing intensively involved with surveillance and data protection at the NGO epicenter.works, which advocates for fundamental rights in the digital age. he also acts as a contact person for data protection in education. Since 2017, he has been holding workshops and training courses on data protection for schools, universities, companies, associations and advocacy groups. In 2021, he took over the project management of the education sector in the association. In 2022, an open e-learning on digital self-defense was created and a team of trainers was established to teach practical data protection in the form of workshops for students.
